The Hudson Highlands Nature Museum will host a Groundhog Day celebration at 10 a.m. Saturday at the museum, 20 Kenridge Farm Drive, Route 9W.Chuckie, a live groundhog, will be there, along with music. Those who attend will learn interesting facts about groundhogs, including biology, life cycle and hibernation habits.Each participant will create a groundhog craft and sing groundhog songs.
Visit Lake Superior Zoo on Groundhog Day (Saturday, Feb. 2) at 10 a.m.
The public is invited to do a little digging. The zoo is located at 72nd Avenue West and Grand Avenue in Duluth and is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. throughout the winter months.
